Appointed in March 2025\, Tony brings extensive leadership experience from roles including Director of Sales\, Marketing and PR at First Direct Arena in Leeds and York Barbican\, and senior positions in the Lake District National Park where he oversaw communications\, marketing and commercial operations for major visitor attractions. With a deep passion for tourism and placemaking\, and strong ties to the region through community work such as fundraising with the RNLI\, he is committed to collaboration with local businesses\, partners and organisations to drive sustainable tourism \nStep inside the historic Grand and enjoy a comfortable environment where businesses of all sizes can collaborate\, learn from one another\, and spark new opportunities.
